Ride plan

How to get there

Ride south toward Mandya using the legal two-wheeler route/service road, exit towards Pandavapura, then follow local directions to the hill base.

Two-wheelers are prohibited on the Bengaluru–Mysuru access-controlled carriageway. Use the service roads and follow signs; allow more time than car-based route estimates.

Ride time is an estimate from central Bengaluru. Check live traffic, road closures, fuel stops and two-wheeler restrictions before departure.

Trail permission: confirm current local rules

Trek sources differ on whether a forest permit applies to the current route. Check the official Aranya Vihaara portal and local authority before a dawn/night hike; do not assume informal access or use an unofficial ticket seller.

Research checked October 2026. Government pages and on-site directions take precedence; confirm same-day closures and permit slots before travelling.
