The Story
A sunset group ride out of Bangalore to Bettakote Lake. We rolled out in the late afternoon, rode the long open roads as the sky turned gold, stopped for chai and biscuits by the water, and watched the sun drop behind the hills before riding back through the cool evening air.
What we did
Rolled out in the afternoon, rode smooth tarmac as the sky went golden, stopped by the water for chai and biscuits as the sun dropped behind the hills, and cruised back through the cool evening air.
The route
Around 50 km each way on smooth tarmac out to Bettakote Lake. Two convoy leads, nobody left behind, and regroup points every 20 km.
What to bring
Your own bike or a rented one — we do not provide or arrange bikes — plus an ISI/DOT helmet, a valid licence, water, and sunglasses for the golden hour glare.
