The Story
A different city, a different pace, and a Sunday spent exploring somewhere new. We're heading to Mysuru for a day of sightseeing, taking in the city's royal history, its beautiful architecture, its spiritual side, and a few places you might not have visited before. From the hilltop Sri Chamundeshwari Temple to the grandeur of Mysore Palace and the striking architecture of St. Philomena's Church, there's plenty to take in along the way. And the best part? You don't have to plan the route, figure out transport between attractions, or buy entry tickets yourself. We'll take care of the trip's transport and covered entry tickets. You just show up, explore, take pictures, and spend the day with good people. Most people come alone. That's kind of the point.
What you'll do
Visit the famous Sri Chamundeshwari Temple on Chamundi Hills, explore the magnificent Mysore Palace, admire the Gothic architecture of St. Philomena's Church, and discover the intricate sand art at Mysore Sand Sculpture Museum. We'll explore as much as we reasonably can within the day, with time for photos, short walks, and breaks along the way. Brindavan Gardens may be included if the schedule and travel time allow.
